Alan Parson, engineer of The Beatles "White Album", claimed that he created the phase "turn me on dead man", which can be heard when playback "number 9" from "Revolution 9" in reverse direction.
But John Lennon, who created Revolution 9 said that the "Number 9" was just an engineer's testing tape with a voice saying "This is EMI Test Series Number 9".
Nine turned out to be John Lennon's birthday and lucky number, but he didn't realize it, it was just that the voice saying "# 9" was so funny and he cut it in.
In Mark Lewisohn's "The Complete Beatles Recording Sessions", he mentioned that Richard Lush, the assistant engineer had a detailed memory of the origin of "number 9" in "Revolution 9", it was from an examination tape from the Abbey Road Studio's archive.

hate to break it to some of you, but Paul is still alive, and don't tell me about all the "clues" cause ive done my share of research, people have nothing better to do than look for fake meanings in songs and on pictures. :P
