  • Did you hear a funny sound at :26-:28.

  • why don't they use Carbon nanotubes for reinforcing the steel, make it lighter, balance out the cost, increase the strength?

  • @Bystander81 Lol, I live in a small, well large town, small city in australia and If I went to this if they built it I wouldn't go past the 10th floor!

  • I hope they really do make this, it looks pretty amazing. I wouldn't mind moving into someplace like that, I think it would be fun. Granted, I'm not moving into the 200th floor or anything lol but I like the idea.

  • @mard420 well they dont use Carbon nanotubes because they arnt tested and are expensive to make

  • @mard420 carbon nanotubes don't work yet

  • I would not want to be loading that crane, I've done a few multi-ton loads, and sheeet..... first time made me nervous as hell.

  • lol at 0.24-0.25 you can hear a strange sound, And at 0.26-0.28 you can hear a fart sound :P

  • by that time shouldn't they be able to stabilize and control earthquakes and have a high predictability power over weather patterns?

  • @mard420 is still hard to produce carbon nanotubes in large scale.

  • @mard420 They don't want it lighter though, because the weight anchors the foundations.

  • reminds me of the tower of babel...-___-
