No one wants to live on unemployment. It's not enough and it's very stressful. But it is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. I've been working very hard - 60 hours a week some weeks, on job hunting, volunteer activities and networking. And when I took a temporary job, which was more temporary than advertised, my benefits were cut in half. My savings are almost exhausted. If I don't find work in the next few weeks, I may have to cut my wrists. The DUA already cut my throat.
