A Dictionary of Basic Japanese Grammar is one of my favorite Japanese language study books. It is a grammar guide with explanations and examples in plain English all alphabetized for easy use.

It is published in Japan so it is not likely to be in stores outside Japan. (But of course we carry it at the Japan Shop :) )

Cool, where can i buy this.And i heard the term "funigawa" around 0:37 i think. Is it like Katakana Hiragana Kanji,or Romanji.

Right now I'm using Human Japanese, The Manga Way and I'm thinking about getting these books but what I'd really like is an exercise books so I can review what I've learned.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

@thejapanshop not true. any large major book store will either have it. or be able to order. or else if you live in a large city that has a specialist japanese book store (my city does) then they will have it or be able to order it.

I've got this. It is a must for any Japanese learner. I also have the follow up intermediate book. There are very few good books on Japanese Grammar. I would say that these books are probably the best available.

I wish i could buy it while it was on sale. But dont worry im buying it later on in January so I can have it for my Japanese classes on 2/7/09. How much is it (with tax and not on sale if available) so i can get my money together?
