@buddy2000529 Perhaps because legend says that the founder of Aikido when imprisoned in Manchuria got the idea for Aikido by watching Baguazhang practitioners in a park across from his cell. Many of the turns and spinning methods of Aikido are quite similar to the turning and spinning moves of both Dong's and Li's Baguazhang methods. Thanks
