Topical acne treatments can be a nice addition to your acne free (clear skin diet). They can help bring your skin closer to being clear while your working on your diet. Some topical products are beneficial while others are detrimental to the overall health of your skin. Topicals can help polish off your skin after your diet is in check and it can help you get clearer faster as you . No one's skin is perfect and even if your diet is perfect your skin may not be. It will be a lot better and probably clear most of the time but there may still be the occasional breakout and topicals and help manage those. Although I am a true believer in natural medicine and the power of food I also believe there is a place for modern science and technology as well. Not all topicals are created equal though. I recently added a topical to my skin care regimen. I add a drop to my CeraVe cream in the morning and at night. It helps clear existing pimples while preventing new ones. It also works well for seborrhea because it is an anti-fungal too. Retin-a is one of my favorite topicals because it also has anti-aging properties. It is extremely helpful in treating acne. I have tried every single product I am talking about in this video so these conclusions are my own. Also, I know there are many more acne treatments out there I am just naming some of the most common and most known products.

  • Your video is sooo awesome and informative!

I have lots of acne scarring - mostly hyperpigmentation - could you do a video on that? I still have active acne so I want to use products that doesn't clog pores and treats the pigmentation.

Does vitamin C derivative products clog pores?
