Cubs vs. Marlins on 7/26/08. Mark DeRosa slides to first in the ninth inning and is called out by umpire Rob Drake. Then first base coach Matt Sinatro gets in the ump's face. Lou Piniella joins the argument and both are tossed.

The bleacher crowd gets upset over the call and then throws a bunch of trash all over the outfield. The game then gets delayed shortly as workers clean off the field. Pretty funny.

Are baseball umpires also called refs? Just curious, b/c someoen claiming to be a baseball ref seems a little awkward to me. Like calling yourself a basketball umpire...you kinda lose credibility.
