Well, let me put it like this,
On GT5 i can do it in 5:03 with room for improvement,
obviously this is very different but 1 minute??
Actually after watching this lap again. Its definitely very slow..
you can see how much the driver is holding back..
every bend can be taken much faster..

2:54 lauda's crash

how cool would F1 at the ring be...

@baretings1 Really? This is the full track, 24.433 km versus 20.600 km. Road & Track magazine reported Heidfeld's lap was a 5:57 or 5:58 (for the Nordschleife only), breaking the track's six-minute barrier for the first time in history. According to formula one F1 Racing magazine of June 2006, BMW engineers had estimated that a BMW-Sauber F1.06 could lap in under 5:15.8

Imagine this track was huge challenge 30 years ago, now almost every corner is flat.
-
fair play.
But that lap was slow as fuck.

I love the helicopter shot. or is it an airplane? at any rate it's aerial.

@NOXXism Cool story but this isn't Valencia it's the Nurburgring and I was referring to that particular tracks layout being unsuitable for modern F1 cars. So...Don't talk shit like that.
240p we meet again.
