Not as a response to the BP Gulf oil spill, Oil Is Blood was recorded just before the war machine started turning in Iraq in 2003 and released on the album Road Rage in 2007. It was filmed/assembled as a video and uploaded to YouTube two years before the BP oil spill in the Gulf. The song talks about the tolls that oil has taken and would take in the future on mankind, the economy and the environment.

A haunting, oldschool heavy metal / hard rock song complete with Imam chant sections, Oil Is Blood reached prominence in the worldwide environmental movement, and slowly builds public awareness in its own distinct way.

April 20, 2010, a date that will live in BlasPhemy.

In the video, Anthony "Anfo Merc" is on guitar and vocals, Joe on drums, Derek on bass.
It shows practice footage and live footage (Fiesta 2008). This video also features footage from the documentary called Oil Is Blood (1943). Also, an SUV on fire (occupants okay) on a tollway in Houston, TX.
