this is the official demo for large prime numbers' minimalist hardcore pseudometal masterpiece (lol) "HONE" (that's two syllables and means "bones" in japanese).

effects used:

ehx double muff on "double" with "muff 1" at 3 o'clock and "Muff 2" at noon

digitech whammy on the 1 octave down / 1 octave up harmony setting

fender twin amp with reverb at 10, speed and intensity at 5

the lyrics, in english:

@listentoalex oh yeah, it's soundproof. it's a practice space in tokyo. it sucks because in tokyo apartment building walls are terribly thin, you're not allowed to modify your apartment at all (they can literally arrest you for putting up curtains etc) and no one has a car so we have to use their shitty amps. got to get famous to get rich; got to get rich to get a car; got to get a car to get an amp; got to get a car to get an amp. et cetera. it's a double-catch-22. a catch-44, if you will.

that said, i would like to

1. master my own tone

2. own my own amp (these amps in our practice studios blow)

3. maybe learn how to do the speed-metal arpeggio sweep-picking thing (you know, so i could apply it to something awesome)

maybe i should just buy an aluminum guitar and throw out my distortion pedals.
