The speaker is Jerald Dirks.Dr. Dirks enrolled at Harvard College as a philosophy major in 1967. He was named a Hollis Scholar, signifying that he was a top pre-theology students in the college. He worked as a youth minister at a fairly large United Methodist Church during his freshman and sophomore years. He graduated in 1971 and was admitted to the Harvard Divinity School thereafter, from where he graduated with a Master's degree in Divinity. During his seminary education, he also completed a two-year externship program as a hospital chaplain at Peter Bent Brigham Hospital in Boston.[1] He also holds a Doctorate in Psychology from the University of Denver.

I will also TAKE IT UP AGAIN. Yes, Jesus was killed, Jesus was sacrificed (God's will) but by God's power he rose again! This is the difference between Christians and other religions, our God rose. Jesus is alive! Other religions are about what WE have to do to get right with God..(Good works and following scriptures).But in Christianity it is all about what GOD did already on the cross. "IT IS FINISHED." The payment for sin!

Oh, I'm deadly serious when I say that the Trinity is a crazy-assed mythological multi-headed hydra of Christian faith. The best way to believe this nonsense is to cram it into children's heads before they form any critical thinking skills.

All I'm saying is that these beaded "gentlemen" have presented a strawman form of the Christian view of Sacrifice and Salvation. They snicker at how silly it is, yet they can't see the absurdity in their own faith.

I did not know this. When was it set to 5? Who set it?

And another thing, I could not find anything in the quran about 5 times worship.

It had already been decreed that the prayer is 5 even before the incident.The point of the story is that if God were to have set the prayer as 50 we would have to accept it since He is worthy of worship and is to be worshipped in a way as He commands.
