West Islip was a great town a long time ago. Anything that was nice now has a house on it . Pretty much the same as the rest of Long Island.

Depends on your age, I guess. We have a few bars, parks and some beaches, though I'm not sure the beaches are public. I might suggest you travel into babylon village which is ridiculously close. It's usually buzzing on the weekends. And if all else fails, you can hang out with the nut job in this video. He's always around! lol.
