You have my sympathies Heidi. I think he must have been a great guy. Funny thing, I got thinking about him the other day, I happened to be listening to their recording of 'My Generation' - lots of fun! Wondering if he was doing the 'chk-chk' as usual (not for very long on that track) Meant to go back and listen again to try and hear if he's doing any more guitar on it, or is it all Jon Michalski.
I always thought Ken Ellner sang everything, now I realise J Byrne was the man!

I was a senior at Los Altos High when this was recorded. I knew the drummer at Foothill College later on. It's funny this looks so normal....even shot on black and white 8mm....not even Super Eight! Those girls are 63 or 64 now. The time goes pretty fast!

I was only 3 years old when this song was performed . I remember the mainstream adult population back then was still old school follow the man and a womans place was stay at home and take care of the kids .I can still hear my dad freaking out at the huge group of hippies that would congregate around the block from my home. My best friend had an older brother in college and hung out at that now silent park. They all where into the Frisco scene and driving around in beat up old 40s cars trippin
