The League of American Voters has sponsored a 33-second television commercial criticizing President Obamas healthcare reform proposals, but ABC and NBC are refusing to run the ad in its current form. The TV spot features neurosurgeon Mark J. Cuffe, M.D., who warns that there arent enough doctors to care for the millions of people President Obama wants to see covered by insurance. Dr. Cuffe points out that government-run healthcare will lead to rationing, and he urges Americans not to let our system become like those in Canada and England.
Fuc+ you with this crap. I live in Canada and ive never had an issue, England sends doctors to your house for Christ sake. Gimmie a break..The only purpose of these ads in so pharmaceutical companies, congress and it's politicians can profit. Do you Americans really believe this sh+t??

nonono u see he's playin it smart...and i restate my example
i think that abortion is wrong against nature, as most pro-lifers are, but i am pro-choice BECAUSE the consequences of illegalizing it Now are too costly to society then slowly eradicating it thru gradual legislation

thanks for the recomendation. i'll go check 'em out.
there's no such thing as "no choice". if obama is truely against the patriot act, then he should try to dismantle it. he's in the best position to do so. it's extremely illogical to say he has no choice. we all have choices. if he really feels that he has "no choice" but to support it, then he doesn't have a spine. that kinda guy is NOT fit to be a leader.

oh watch chris matthews and Scarboragh if u want conservative arguments being held fairly
as for obama; hes the president, he sed himself that he personally is against the Patriot Act, nevertheless his stance
for example, i am personally strongly against abortion, but i am pro-choice

i've never seen it on msnbc, but you are correct about cnn. cnn is pretty middle, which is why i haven't mentioned them.
how can he not have a choice? plenty of liberals in high places hate the patriot act. it's not like the CIA or the FBI are above critisism. hell, pelosi critisizes the CIA ALL THE TIME. it's not that he doesn't have a choice, it's that he actually does support the patriot act.

no i hav definatly seen conservative arguments being laid out and sumtimes agreed with on both MSNBC and CNN; most recent example of this is wen the republican candidate for Cali senate was interveiwed for about 20 minutes by King about 2 hours ago
and i didnt say that the Obama administration is not backing the renewal of the Patriot Act, im just saying that the president himself is against it BUT has no choice but to support it

true, fox news has not had a liberal WORK for them since last year, but it is still BRINGING liberals onto their shows. sure, it's to make a mockery of them, but hey, i can hear liberal arguements on fox all the time, but never any conservative arguements on msnbc.
please name me one SPECIFIC example. obama does support extending the patriot act: abcnews go com/Politics/obama-supports-extending-patriot-act/story?id=8582891

um yea about that; did u know that on msnbc a conservative has his own show that lasts 3 hours? and that two of the channels most used corespondants are conservatives? did u also know that Fox hasnt had a liberal work for them since last year? or that they interupt/mock any liberal that comes on their show(s) and disagree with them?
and so far, ALOT of pepl hav been abused by the patriot act, and Obama is agenst it, but cant Do anything about it cus of the CIA and FBI pushing for it to stay
SwimmerInBlue 2 years ago
true, true. my point is that msnbc and abc do not seem to like anybody who disagrees with them. fox news is a lot better at this part. i have not seen a conservative on msnbc at all, but i've seen plenty of liberals go onto shows like glenn beck and the o'reilly factor.
so far, NO ONE has been abused by the patriot act. the ACLU even says so. and besides, obama wants to make the patriot act even MORE intrusive.

i wasnt talking about the healthcare bill... and i dont know if u realize, but CNN, MSNBC, and Fox are privately owned companies, so they have the freedom to do whatever then hell they want; and if its to ban certain ridiculusly stupid (like this one) or competely against their agenda (like the ones fox bans) then they ban them..it isnt the government
oh and btw, the Patriot Act is the most freedom-killing thing passed by this govt since Adam's sedition act
