Cyborg Manifesto (Goodbye, Trannystar)

Donna Haraway's cyborg has been employed by some queer theorists as a metaphor for trans-ness. This video is a playful tribute to Haraway's essay, "A Cyborg Manifesto: Science, Technology, and Socialist-Feminism in the Late Twentieth Century" -- during a recent vacation in San Francisco, my video collaborator, deaddogx, and I wore masks to accentuate our status as somehow "alien" in the "natural" non-trans world.
