He is an sopranist countertenor. Philippe is just one of those guys whose vocal range is equivalent to that of a contralto, mezzo-soprano, or a soprano, usually through use of falsetto, or as is rarely the case, the normal or modal voice. In a nutshell: It's a voice type.

@zap22it I'm french and I've seen him in concert, his voice is naturally made to sing high note, when you hear him speak, he speaks like a normal guy. It's just normal for him, he doesn't take any drugs or anything. He won so many competition, and i don't understand why people keep saying he's gay or something. I'd rather have him than Justin bieber
