he lives in france most of the time, so i would suspect he can understand it quite well. and probably speak it too.

I love this man he could never do wrong in my eyes. i would not care if it was a voice-over or if he was speaking pigeon!!!
He is a incredible man and actor and I cant wait for Public Enemies and Pirates of the Caribbean 4!! plus loneranger (he's tonto). Tim Burtons adaptation of Alice in wonderland (Mad Hatter) and all new movies! so Johnny Keep up the good work! :-)

The French part sounds like a voice over...meaning the questions were asked in English during the interview. The French-Canadian accent is terrible in this...

Yeah I saw an interview with him a few years back where he said he understands 97% of french and that he learnt it to be able to converse with Vanessa's family. His children are bi-lingual as well so he must be able to speak French! Hope this helps everyone! x
