  • Dimes from 1965 to the present are composed of 75 percent copper and 25 percent nickel.

  • thanks for posting your videos! fun to watch. my experience is that when you have a faint all metal signal, it's probably very deep and out of discriminate range....my point being that I don't bother switching out of all metal...I just dig out at least 2 or 3 scoops AND THEN go to disc. mode, saves time. Also, seems like your very quick to dismiss a null tone in disc. I have found that SEVERAL PASSES are required at different angles to really give the EXCAL time to ' think about it ' good luck!

  • Thanks EL, Sounds like good advice. Stay in contact, I am always open for Learning from other hunters. HH .....Obn

  • Now go back and fill in your holes rookie, LOL

  • That's funny!!

  • Im sure this guy wouldnt like open holes in his own yard , but then again maybe he would !!

  • I see from your videos that you hunt the same beaches I do (DelMarVa, Sandy Point, etc) In fact I just pulled a ring from Sandy Point yesterday. Perhaps we'll bump into each other one of these days!

  • @mcge Aren't you a cheerful snot. No onei s going to break their leg in a 5 inch deep depression in sand. If you can't make your way through sand, you're probably too weak to walk.

  • @OldeBeechnut Great response!

  • nice vid..thinking of buying a metal detector for beach treasures. all I read about the excalibur convinces me. but can you explain me..this constant noise is necessary? doesn´t that drive you mad, especially considering that it only works with head phones? could it be turned of if I only want to concentrate on gold an silver? thanks for any help

  • The sound!

  • @mcge

    agreed!!

  • Thanks for filling your holes you fucking idiot..!!!!

Hmmmm.....wonder why detectorist have a bad name.

It's because of you, you lazy fuck..!!!

Don't worry about the kid who's going to break his leg in that crater you just left there, just hurry off to your next clad dime.

Please, for all the RESPONSIBLE metal detector enthusiasts, please, quit this hobby.

If I watched you do that on a beach near me, the police would need a metal detector to fish you out of the water....

  • Lazy !

  • You should fill in your holes!
