  • The best pitcher in baseball.

  • I have to say, an athlete can actually big joy to a person. The good old days with the Braves, watching him every start, that was a piece of history and at the same time a great part of my life. He was, to me, the greatest pitcher of all time, a fascinating artist and someone who discovered something new every game, would try anything to get that out. That's an artist, and adventurer, an inventor, not just a pitcher.

  • I think Maddux can beat Tom Seaver for highest vote percentage when he's up for the Hall of Fame in two years.

  • gay ass music

  • Greg is the BEST pitcher of all time! I MISS U GREG, from Argentina.

  • I think next 300 win pitcher is CC sabathia.

  • I actually missed this, thanx for posting it. Watching Maddux go to work was always a joy! He truly was a master of his craft

  • 355 wins eighth all-time is actually misleading since it's the second highest total since 1920, when the Live Ball Era began. It is the highest total in the past 60 years as Spahn, who had 363, had many wins before 1949. Carlton's 329 is remarkable, Clemens' 354 is beyond expression for this era, but Clemens' achievements have been discredited. In that total context, Maddux's 355 is the most impressive since Walter Johnson and Cy Young, and probably even more than those two.

  • Greg its a gentleman, like all players should be.

Good behavieur, speak just the necesary amd pitch like no other.

  • A beautiful day for baseball. Maddux being embraced by his home team, if only all of the big three were there for the occasion

  • Yeah but not much of a public speaker. That's okay pitches and sportsmanship speak more than words ever could
