I saw them in concert back in 1979. Michael Cooper and Felton Pilate tore this song up.

I remember I thought that I was slick. I wrote the lyrics to this song and I gave them to Takayalah when we were in Mr. Satzinger's class I got an A for the poem cause he didn't know it was a song already Later on Takayalah got it out of me that was indeed a song we laugh but I blew it that day but she was still real cool with me She was the most beautiful and coolest girl I ever knew in my life. May she rest in peace. She's probably laughing and calling me silly right now LOL
