At Gamescom Bioware released a new trailer for Star Wars: The Old Republic, showing off the Hutt Ball, a competitive sport sponsored by various Hutt cartels that will provide a venue for team-based PvP.
The players will be split in two teams by random draw, and will have to bring a ball past the end line of the other team to score, of course killing the opponents in the process is not only permitted, but also encouraged.

Well Blizz has already started to rip off swtor before it even came out, at Blizzcon they announced 'murderball' which is appariently the exact same thing as hutt ball. Now what are they going to do, release the new expansion the exact day that swtor releases, just like what they did with warhammer?

why should it be a joke? I think this is a great change to pvp .. It remind me alot of League of Legends where it's more of a competitive objective based pvp. Considering I've been pvping for 15 years in mmos this is something thats needed and wanted.
