Hi
Theres a good vid you might like to see, this time of the Class 115s at Marylebone with Leyland Albion engines, at 5:15 nice shot of 8 car smoking its way out of Marylebone. Search for 'Marylebone Memories + Regents Park.'

these units are beast, but youve got to admit in BR days they were dreadful...fires reguarly in the driving cabs, fumes entering the coaches, no corridor connections with only one toilet in the entire unit, bumby ride and slow on accleration. Makes me apprdicate the 319s on the route lol

what a cracking 1st gen unit
Great vid - this is actually Class 127 from the old Bedford-St Pancras line. They all had great crackling exhaust sounds, as did the class 125s used out of Liverpool St/Kings Cross.
Such a different era to Bedpan line today!
Thanks for this.
