this is a quick start up of my 95 jeep wrangler yj with a 350 small block. i was running open headers before the next exhaust went on

i ended up putting in a ford 8.8 rear out of a ford explorer. i had the 4 cyl motor so i had the ax 5 tranny. I figured that wouldnt hold up so i got the ax 15 tranny out of they 6cyl yj's. this engine my buddy had in his basement, so i sent it out to get magnafluxed and cooked and bored out. this video is from when my engine builder built it and we lost a cam a whole bunch of other stuff. so i tore it down and rebuilt it my self. 10:1 compression, 480 lift cam and the good stuff

@redv8jeepyj1 i am looking at a ford 8.8 rear end to buy and was wandering a few things about it. i know that it is in comparison to the Dana 44 in strength but the offset of the housing being different from the dana 35 do u get a lot of vibrations. i have read reviews and with the 4% differance people say that there are vibrations when accelerating do u have these vibes?
