Congressman Roscoe Bartlett (R-MD) joined colleagues, Reps. Don Manzullo, Chris Van Hollen, Steny Hoyer, Frank Kratovil and Dan Maffei along with auto dealership owners, including Jack Fitzgerald of Fitzgerald Auto Malls, to discuss the recently introduced Automobile Dealer Economic Rights Restoration Act of 2009. The legislation will restore the economic rights of automobile dealers in order to protect jobs, workers, and small business owners.
Brand New Vehicles should be kept inside on a flat level garage to prevent from weathering. They should also be wrapped up sitting on a wooden pallet.. All interior should be wrapped up also. Every new car should be leaving the factory at -41.5 miles by law never driven and delivered on a truck.

This bill is supported on both sides because it's the right thing to do. Jack Fitzgerald has said it, and there's no answer from GM or Chrysler - dealers cost the car companies nothing.
