He basically said it. Macs are PCs. Ever since the switch to Intel, Apple's only differentiation in regard to hardware is branding.

But for most intents and purposes, the parts that matter in a Mac aren't Apple Proprietary. It's nVidia. It's Intel. Your GPU and CPU are covered. Sure, the cases are nice, but that doesn't justify the price.

To each their own, but I don't feel like I have a more rewarding experience when I use Apple hardware. Instead, I pick and choose and stay ahead of the curb.

I think its funny that people are trying to knock down Chris Pirillo for being ,"arrogant" or whatever, when hes really just telling people to make their own decisions based on their needs.

@rabadooda Finally, someone else that agrees with me. He is somewhat knowledgeable about computers but he is extremely arrogant. He acts like we are all idiots. Just reading his description on his youtube page proves that he is a self-centered a-hole.

But apples hardware sucks. It's subpar to keep prices down, which are still WAAAAY to high. PC's can boot any OS they want too. It's called multi booting. The only difference is that you can have any hardware you want, not just apple hardware. For example, most video cards are made for Windows. You have to buy special versions for mac.

@rabadooda A true genius is someone who can share their knowledge with the masses. If you have to dumb it down a bit to expand an audience then so be it.
