El arranque de los ajos se realiza mediante una reja que levanta el ajo y unas correas lo suben hacia arriba mientras unos vibradores limpian la tierra y lo hacen llegar al atador donde son transportados por una cinta hacia el atador el cual los ata en paquetes. Una vez atados, el paquete queda perfectamente de pie en el suelo.
