NAGA Georgia Welterweight Finals 7-10-2010

Blue Belt Welterweight Finals Match. My Finals match against Muhammad Bilal from Knuckle Up in Atlanta. He was a bigger guy and pretty tall (not quite sure how he made 169 lbs haha). Right out of the gate, I thought he was going to pull guard but that was not the case. He pulled off a nice throw and put me on my back....I started to come back on top but ended up getting stuck in an inverted triangle where I spent a good amount of time. almost had a few sweeps and some other things but I just wasn't aggressive enough. Ended up losing on points which is my own fault for being lazy. Congrats to my opponent! Hope to face you again soon!
