In Nepal, many impoverished families have been forced to sell their daughters to work far from home as bonded servants. Some of these children are as young as six!

Most of these enslaved girls live in horrific conditions. They seldom attend school and have no prospects for a decent future. Many are abused, some are forced into prostitution, and some disappear entirely.

The Nepal Youth Foundation (NYF) brings these girls home to their families, sponsors their education, and gives each girl's family a piglet or goat to reimburse them for the money they would have received for selling their daughter.

  • This is one of the main priorities Nepalese government should overlook. They should have an army go after these SlaveMasters. Obviously, i'm still going to pursue my dream as a big computer engineer but eventually will get involved in politics and change the way Nepal and Nepalese people are underlooking these things. I don't hate indians for buying any person from nepal because it's the nepalese responsibility first!

  • i quess the only way i can help is donate,, god bless
