Capo, Picks, and Wireless Transmitter - All in one!

Here's a really quick cheap and cool way to play your guitar on an amplifier (even on your car radio, tailgating anyone?) using nothing more than a wireless guitar transmitter, a FM radio, and a few audio jack adapters. Easily works up to 15 ft. Professional wireless guitar transmitters can run up to 400 dollars, and this costs less than 10. Sounds like a pretty good trade-off to me.

  • Hey dude I tried doing this but it didn't work and there's wayyyyy to much static. Maybe cos I'm in Australia and 106.7 and 107.5 are actually real FM stations...

  • @tr33tv Yea, that's a major flaw with this kind of FM transmitter. There's better kinds that can be tuned to any station, and I'm sure they have better ranges to transmit sound so that there's less static.

Thank u very much for d idea

N i hve a 15 watt ibanez amp with reverb

I guess it will work without distrotion also.

N will dis system work for more than 15ft?

  • @shotokan1997 Maybe but the quality wouldn't be as good.

  • @GreekGadgetGuru

why do i need a distrotion pedal or distrotion button in my amp??

will it not work without it?

n cn i not play my guitar with distrotion?

  • @shotokan1997 My amp is really bad quality. It has an overdrive button that gives it a distortion and this didn't work unless it was on. I actually think it was the gain in volume that made this work. I could be wrong, but if you have a good quality amp with a good volume level then this should work no prob without distortion.

  • so you can use distortion not just clean tone?

  • i did this simpler, but they do need a simple transistor buffer to be up to proper level/quality...then they work fine without having to use a pedal/board etc...video response sent.. :)

  • AC/DC IM A HUGE FAN!! Back in Black album

  • Out of curiosity. Are there FM transmitter that gives fantastic sound quality and let's me walk or jump around. I hear fm signal are pretty iffy....
