  • how do you make money when your traveling? i know your a writer, but was wondering if you make money off blogs or your website etc? i cant figure out how to make money so i can travel permanently.

  • @linkavitchC Good question. At the moment, no I don't make hardly any money through my writing efforts, website, etc. I'm hoping that will change with my new book, "Following My Thumb" coming out in June. Also I'm writing a new book of travel tips and guidelines, that I will sell on my website, and will be promoting the website more. Honest truth though: I've just worked crappy jobs and saved up. The past 3 years I worked front desk at a hotel in Jasper National Park. So, no big secret!

  • - 1:05 - is that Nepal?

  • @dharmabird67 Hi there, no that's the Laxman Jhula bridge over the Ganges River at Rishikesh, India.I might head for Nepal later this year though.

  • I've been to most of those places you video-ed, except greece which I've always wanted to go, you must have good taste! : ) Will also be in Nepal later in 2012, Pokhara and Kath. happy travels

  • @gabejedmo Nice - I have been to some parts of North India but not Rishikesh yet - the landscape looks similar to the Kali Gandaki river area in Nepal - if you make it there you should check it out. We will be going to India later this year but probably focusing on Rajasthan - I also want to see the Golden Temple in Amritsar.
