This public service announcement for the evolutionary Friends Without Borders project was broadcast by most of the major television networks throughout India and Pakistan. The campaign involves getting kids of both countries to write letters of friendship to one another as a way to build the bridges that will change the world as this generation matures.

This 30-second commercial was filmed by Black Magic Motion Pictures in Bombay, India. There are also versions in Hindi, Urdu, and four South Indian languages.

  • yes agreed!

  • ISLAMABAD, June 4-2008:Pakistan needs an education system that develops humanism, enligh-tenment and critical thinking in its children and not jingoism, according to physicist and peace activist Dr Pervez Amirali Hoodbhoy. The education our children are acquiring today breeds hatred and violence," he said. Such irrationality was not unexpected when children are taught about differences between Hindus and Muslims and the wars fought between India and Pakistan from very young age.

  • A pretty girl says at end, "please jaldi likhna"

    How Cooooooool.

I pray to God that may these children's minds remain as clean and ambitious towards positive, as today.

We can change the world if we go together.
