Black Tiger MMA Team fighters competed (and kicked ass) in an MMA event in Beijing China on Oct. 2, 2006.
Fernando Bernstein is a Muay Thai fighter from San Clemente, California. He fought in the Ultimate Fighter TV show in 2008 and is now a professional MMA fighter in the US.
Haomiao is a Sanda (Sanshou) fighter from Beijing, China.
This event was held in a public park with only mats on hard pavement. It was "grass roots" MMA with a very local Chinese flavor. This is one of the most interesting MMA events I've ever seen.

With MMA becoming bigger and bigger the chinese will get into it and they WILL kick ass like in pretty much every thing they really try.

Damn, I gave you a thumbs up.
The fight was horrible. He's lucky that the rules there are that you have to start back int he center laying down, and he does throw a few punches to the back of the head RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE REF.

lol he is a horrible fighter.. and i know this because i trained there for multiple years.. i left because i didnt want to be trained be inferior teachers.. the gym is a joke.. the only reason he joined fighting is cuz he gets whooped in the streets.. its funny because his punches feel like flies.. just annoying.. i wish he woulda last longer in the ulitimate fighter so he woulda got his ass kicked.. its funny.. im not just saying thiyngs its funny. how bad he is
