  • ur head is supposed to be all the way down and youre supposed to lean forward

  • @jennettefan41 there are many ways to do a race dive, this explanation describes the basics of the slingshot-track dive used by most all of the top international sprinters worldwide. Leaning forward gives you less momentum from the blocks and you don't utilize your arms as much. Some swimmers have their heads further down than me, but I like to keep it higher up so that my spine is straighter = less loss of power from the legs through the spine.
