  • I always offer to bolt up the joints for builders even if it means charging a minimum.

  • I've done 100's of worktop joints using trend jigs and my dewalt 2000w router and the machining is just the half of it.

    It takes time and care fitting and bolting the joints to give flush fit and almost invisible joints (don't touch color fill, drys too quick.) use appropriate silicone and spend the time needed tweaking the joint.

    I have produced perfectly machined joints for builders and they have then ruined the finish by bolting incorrectly....

    One of the most satisfying carpentry jobs.
