  • omg is this a joke! i do tradition atilogwu which is a west african cultural dance..if y'all want to learn some real african moves then search "traditional nigerian dance" "traditional congo dance" "soukous dance" "atilogwu" "traditional african dance" etc..there are thousans of videos on you tube with the real deal..what she is teaching is some fairy rainbow rubbish!

  • Let's be more gentle and kind with ea. other.This woman is a "teacher", she has obviously lowed the movements down so that the beginning students can understand what is going on. Please, let's take this to a higher, more intelligent level. I have taken African dance from the pros and she is legit. Asante sana.

  • @htowndyme07 This is a traditional West African dance style - different from Congo and Nigerian dance. She's doing a good job of demonstrating basic steps. She's also verbalizing the drum beats the way its usually done in dance classes. I've seen this in many dance studios across North America presented in the same way by drummers and dancers from West Africa who were generously sharing their traditions with us.

  • This lady is doing a few basic moves from the popular West African dance Lamba. She is helping to promote the interest in African dance. And if you will get up and try the moves she is doing, you will find that you will work up a sweat. For more Lamba moves go to: ayo sharpe mouzon on youtube. The lady is also in excellent shape...don't criticize.... ex-ercise****
