Hiking in the Swiss Mountains (Bernese Alps) from Kandersteg to Lauterbrunnen. Stayed at a lodge in the mountains. It is incredible how easily you make friends up there... :-) Hope you like it and look it up on maps.google.ch
@SFBakstad Thank you so much! This lake is one of my favorite places, the one end of it reminds my of the Rockies, the other of fjords... :-) Norge er et vakkert land (:-D translated with google) Looking forward to the summer when I can go hiking in the mountains again and take pictures and vids!
so gorgeous! some of those shots are truly unbelievable; like the ones overlooking the turquoise water. It kinda reminded me of my husband's home country, Norway and traveling through the fjords.
@LCLimaging1 The hike started at 3'852 feet, the highest point of the hike was at 9'186 feet and the hut is on 8'055 feet. The mountains in this area are on average 12'000 feet high but they go up to 13'642 (Jungfrau). Further south in Switzerland the mountains reach an altitude of 15'200 feet.
Yeah, I can't wait for summer either. Luckily in my area there is not that much snow and not that much freezing as in Colorado... :-)
