Nice to see your son shooting the AR-18. I noticed the muzzle pulls to the right every time he fires. Is that a characteristic of the AR-18?

@mtefft At the time, his arms were too short to hold the foregrips. By holding the mag, it pulled the shot

A little advice don't tap the clip in once its in it bends the clamp on the magazine and it will stop the bullet from feeding in. Personal experience.

I must say, my son is an amazing shot for his age. I have stressed gun safety with him. He respects weapons and has an amazing knowledge base as well.

Ironic that the current British military standard rifle ( I thinks it's called the L85A1 ) uses an operating system based on this rifle.

@fermin94 Not to be a pest but it's called a magazine, not a clip. YES, there is a difference. A clip is fed into a magazine. A magazine pushes rounds into the chamber of a firearm with a spring. The only guns that use clips are some bolt action guns, and old, old guns(m1 garand) because they have built-in magazines. If you were to put a clip into an ar or ak, you'd look like a fool.

I have the very first mode l of the armalite ar 18. with the foldable stock.
