  • @RienJen Oh, please! If someone came up to you and told you it took them six months to learn how to write the letter A, you would think that they were either really lazy, or that there is something wrong with them! The same could be said for the BTB butterfly which is one of the easiest tricks that you can learn. It takes maybe five tries to get it down, and then a handful more to be able to flawlessly transition from it to w/e else you want.

Also, I never directly insulted you.

  • @siamondTV Wow, that's an extremely rude thing to say to someone you don't even know and said nothing offensive to you. I guess it's nice to be such an arrogant little shit when you can cowardly say something through a computer screen.

  • @RienJen It took you 6 months to master the BTB butterfly? How the hell did you manage to pull that off? Did you practice it once every three months?

  • @krazipu So you have had a year is your video ready for us all to judge you? Heck you should be King of fire by now... Sad that you concerntrate on the technical tricks and miss the soul of the whole performance. You can learn the moves... the tricks the bling but what counts most is what the dancer brings from inside themselves this is self expression, it is art not a competition. There is nothing to prove.

  • Fire Fairy

  • ok so maybe the moves can be learnt in a few days - if you PRACTICE at least 2 to 3 hours six days a week - then it takes at least a few more months of MAJOR practice to make moves look as easy as that

  • Yikes, krazipu--you are either an overly confident fire performer, or you have no idea what you're talking about.

Sage was pulling off behind-the-back butterflies, extended windmills, front and behind-the-back buzzsaws, front and behind-the-back 3-beat weaves, flowers, extended arm reels. Not to mention she was dancing and whirling through all the moves.

Behind-the-back butterfly took me six months to master, just as an example. It's harder than you think. She makes it look easy.

  • I think this was a beautiful performance!

I've seen a lot of fire poi and yes there will always be someone out there better... but I don't know why "krazipu" is so against this performance!

She is a beautiful dancer and skilled at fire poi... although I think she is better with the fire batons or the fire orb myself

    :D

  • I bet 70% of the moves can be learned within a few days, the rest within several weeks

no big deal in my opinion, why is everyone so fascinated... every decent circus has WAY BETTER and WAY MORE SKILLED artists

  • She's got a sharp style, unlike so many others
