My son and I had the privledge of working on this film. What a great concept and incorporation of all the requirement for Project Direct. Thanks for allowing us to be a part of this creation! Lorelle and Dakoa Carter

Nice movie, really moving.

Awesome, touching film and so much fun to make....nothing like guerilla subway filming! Even though Dakota and I are actors in the movie, we STILL think it should have won on it's own merits! Great job Ann!!! Lorelle and Dakota Carter

this is one should have won. every part fits together perfectly. i love how you can say so much without having to say it all.

Nice job. This is a lovely, subtle film that manages to pack a punch with the reveal at the end. I was surprised how moving a short film could be. Well done!

Difficult to follow. May be the reason it didn't win. Not enough clues as to what was going on. I didn't even notice that he DIDN'T have the ashes at first because of the camera angles, hands in his pockets, back turned, etc. So if you didn't understand the first part, then the rest doesn't really make sense. Could have been better crafted. But thanks for this creation.

Very well done. They need to fire all those striking writers since they can't write worth a damn and hire people like you who has writing talent.

so sad. :(
Guy picks up his dad's ashes and is supposed to take them to the funeral. He stays on the subway all day because he doesn't want to give up his father. He continues to ignore his mother's phone calls, and continues to ignore his subway stop. Touching story. Well done.

Very touching. I'm shocked the sound worked so well on the subway. This movie is incredible for the fact that it truly speaks to you rather than entertain alone. Why this didn't make it into the top 3 I will never know.
