Resident Evil 4 knife run_Chapter 5-1 part 3

Short part. Second last room is pretty tricky, got lucky there. (I didn't get hit by the BGBs.)

Rules and info about this knife run:

1: Knife and pistol only.

2: Pistol may only be used where the knife is useless (eg shooting down mad truck drivers or defeat Salazar).

3: No selling, buying or upgrading from the merchant.

4: No typewriter savings.

5: No continues.

6: Professional difficulty

The sound might be a bit off, but it's because I had to convert between different formats a couple of times in order to get the clips from my DVD Recorder to run on my PC and ultimately, on YouTube.

NEW! Because my computer broke, I'm once again forced to use free conversion programs. So expect some watermarks for future videos. x(

I'm playing the GameCube version in PAL50. But there's no difference in speed from NTSC (US) or PAL60. The only difference is that the framerate is a little lower than NTSC and PAL60.

Important info for all American viewers! (and Japanese, too) The knife is TWICE as strong in the PAL GameCube version as it is in the NTSC GameCube version. Thanks goes to a guy nicknamed "Candyman" for helping me find this out. With other words, doing the knife run on the PAL version is much easier than on the NTSC version.

I'm sorry for no update, but it's just very difficult...

I do try and have tried a lot of different strategies but the tricky thing is that enemies do not behave the same twice. That's why you need a lot of luck in order to finish this chapter. Everything must go your way.

@KaiWii what exactly is the difficult part of 5-2. Is it the part where you have to stop those guys from killing ashley while you hit the switch or is it just the number of enemies?

@HappyHawaiinSauce Only really difficult thing are the three trucks. 9 times out of 10 I manage to get to the trucks. You need time in order to shoot the truck drivers, and if there is as much as one enemy left behind you, you're doomed. That's what makes this so incredibly hard.

I've finished the first two trucks many times on various tries, but the third one is unfortunately the hardest. You have less time with that truck and you need to turn away from the enemies at exactly the right moment.

Yes man, please show us more. You split the chapters anyway into smaller parts (which makes sense), so why not showing Ch. 5-2 only up to the truck part? I long to see it.

What about just IGNORING one or two enemies behind you while dealing with the truck driver and just keep on shooting him? I suppose you've got lots of healing items by now, which you could use, ? I REALLY hope you will make it through this chapter. I think, the truck part is the hardest of the whole game as a knife run.

@KaiWii since I dont really know how many healing items you have, couldn't you just use 3/4 of them and rush through this? it's surely not that easy but do you get fucked up that easy?
