Demi put on the strapless green dress and had Joe zip the back.

She turned around and tugged on Joes tie making it nice and tight.

Joe: Dont choke me.

Demi: -Giggles.- Youre so cute.

Joe: You said that earlier.

Demi: Maybe because you are.

Demi turned to Joes dresser and pulled off the long black beaded necklace and doubled it over her head and put on a matching bracelet.

She looked at herself in the full length mirror.

From the wavy hair to the flowy short dress to the black mini heels.

She had to admit, she looked nice.

Joe poked his head over her shoulder.

Joe: Gorgeous.

Demi turned around to face him, blushing.

Demi put her arms around his neck, her hands going in his hair.

Demi felt his arms wrap around her waist.

Joe leaned down and kissed her softly.

Demi deepened it making it more passionate.

Then she pulled away.

Demi: Youre lucky Im choosing not to wear lipstick tonight.

Joe: Thats perfectly okay with me.

Demi: Do you have my phone?

Joe: -Opens his suit jacket showing inside pockets.- Right here.

Demi: Thanks.

Joe: We should go. Its almost 5:30 and it takes just about half an hour to get there.

Demi: Okay.

They went downstairs and into the garage and Joe froze, Demi bumping into his back.

Demi: Oof. Joe?

Joe: We dont have car.

Demi: Huh?

Joe: My parents each have their cars and Kevin has his date and Nick is probably there already with my car!

Demi: Dammit.

Joe: What do we do? -He started pacing.-

Demi: Call someone! For a ride.

Joe: Everyone lives over half an hour away.

Demi: Not Sel. Wait! She got ready at Davids.

Joe: Oh my God! -He kept pacing then stopped.- I have an idea -He walked over to the motorcycle.-

Demi: No, no, no, no, no, no. We cant.

Joe: Its our last hope. We cant be late. Come on, please.

Demi: My dress will fly up. And I cannot have helmet hair. And Ill be cold.

Joe took off his jacket and handed it to Demi who pulled it on. He still had his vest and white button down.

Joe: I cant do anything about the helmet hair.

Demi: What about my dress?

Joe: If you sit in front of me, I can hold it down.

Demi: Then who will drive?

Joe: You will.

Demi: What?!

Joe: Its so easy. Come here.

He showed her the basics. How to go and stop, speed up, blinkers, all that.

Joe: You got it?

Demi: Yeah, but-

Joe: The present! Go get it!

Demi stepped out of her heels and ran inside the house to get the present.

She came back.

Joe opened a little pocket on the back, just big enough for the little gift bag to go inside.

Demi stepped back into her shoes as Joe opened the garage.

He pulled the bike out onto the driveway and Demi followed.

Then Joe went back inside and closed the garage and came out the front door.

Joe: Okay. Ready? -He handed her a helmet.-

Demi: I guess -Joe was about to pull on his helmet.- Wait!

Joe: What?

Demi: Your hair looks really cute all wavy and curly.

Joe: We dont have time -He pulled on the helmet and Demi pulled on hers while giggling.-

Joe helped Demi onto the bike, then he got on behind her.

Joe: Ill direct you. Start it.

Demi: I cant believe this.

Joe puts his hands on Demis thighs holding her dress down as she starts the bike.

Joe: Go right.

Demi pushed the gas and went out of the driveway.

Joe directed her on where to go and what to do.

They were at a stoplight.

Demi: Joe, people are staring.

Joe: Probably because you look hot.

Demi: Great, thanks.

Joe: Go.

They drove or rode, I suppose, to the hotel and parked the bike and went inside.

It was 5:59.
