This is hilarious, it looks like the worst movie possible! Imagine watching it like in the movies and noone knows what to expect and it's just 2 people eating at a restaurant

@fishandfestival i dont think blassie was such a bad guy, he seems to over do the sexism for affect, just like andy does, i always thought of it like other comedies and its just there as funny, no one needs to be fooled or maybe just the viewer, but compared to the predictable rubbish on tv today its pretty cool 20 years on we are still discussing this and not 100% sure!

@fishandfestival interesting, I have the dvd and the commentary explains it took 5 hours of shooting to get less than an hour, the end credits explain that the film had writers, so during this 5 hours there must have been a script for at least parts of it, and if there was take after take perhaps on something like the fan being sick on the table to get a better reaction or to do it better surely that would tell blassie it was staged and of course he would have to react again and again.
