So the 3rd movie will probably cover everything from when Guts leaves the Hawk, when they go on a rescue mission to save Griffith and the Eclipse. Which might mean we will see the battle between Silat the assassin from Kushan and Guts. And maybe the black dog knights and Wyald. And who knows? Maybe they will let us see the entire eclipse this time? When skullknight comes to the rescue and maybe even a little beyond?

@ncshuriken Let's put it this way. The first movie covers the story when Gatsu meets Griffith and joins the band of the hawk the second movie is about the battle over the Doldrey castle, if u recall? When Zodd threw his big ass sword to help Gatsu when he fought Boscone. In the trailer we got to see Gatsu meeting the skullknight so either it's before or after the eclipse. Since Gatsu met the skullknight before the eclipse in the manga.

Im really excited to see the new Berserk cos I loved the series, and I'm currently LOVING the manga (I can see why people call it the best manga on the planet, second to Gantz maybe, or not). The music was good too. I didn't like the opening or ending theme (but I never do in anime), BUT the other music fit perfectly into place, even the techno/synthy action themes.

Hearing that its just gonna be a remake of the series is pretty damn disappointing though. Why not a continuation FFS!?

Has that been confirmed? I haven't even watched this vid yet, but they BETTER be. If this is just gonna be a modern remake of the anime series, consolidated into 3 movies, that'll be fucking stupid. Why not make a follow up!? It makes no sense NOT to, especially seeing as the end of the series pretty much PAVED the way for a continuation in its cliff hanger ending.

We'll have to wait and find out. The anime was brilliant, but it had a terrible ending IMO, although it DOES come ALMOST full circle with episode 1. I dont think ANY movie or series will be as good as the manga anyway. It'd be impossible to fit the full scale of an epic like Berserk into any movie, and virtually impossible to do it as a series. I guess they can only concentrate on one section of the story to make a movie of. Hopefully a follow up the anime
