I just feel like uploading pics from were i live. Outside of South haven, Kansas.
The songs in this video is Grade Polonaise Brillante by Frederic Chopin and a piece from Pas d'action from Tchaikovsky`s Sleeping beauty ballet.

tomtom rerouted me through south haven back in early june
how long has the Shoo Fly shop been closed? i saw it on the drive through heading to witchta

@Kdutch You are so right. It is a peaceful, lovely place. However, the hidden road leads to the Chicaskia River, not the Ninnescah!!

During a stressful time in life, I moved with my young children, from the bustle of Wichita, to South Haven, KS on an ad in a newspaper. Although the drive was over an hour one way to my job, I could not believe the peace. I loved it. We did experience a middle of the night tornado, we survived it but never forgot. The town has a bison farm, and a wonderful hidden road to the Ninnescah River near the Oklahoma border, where the fishing is incredible. It was the most peaceful time imaginable.

I'm thinking of doing my Au Pair year in Kansas because it's nice and quiet and I think the landscape is really beautiful. Romantic. It's hard finding such places in our world today.

I live out in the country near a town called Masterton in New Zealand.
