The book into which this movie is based on is so beautiful, and sad, and epic; and while I know most book to movie adaptations aren't the best I can say that I really, really loved the movie. Yes it left things out (as most movies do) but it captured the heart of it which I am grateful for. Plus Anne & Jim had stunning chemistry.

Those who don't know what this is about here is a movie summary: After spending the night together on the night of their college graduation Dexter and Em are shown each year on the same date to see where they are in their lives. They are sometimes together, sometimes not, on that day.

Lastly I need to thank Diana (smokeyfiizz) for introducing me to this beautiful song. Months ago I had told her I was out of song inspiration and she showed me this one and at first I was like, 'oh i like it! but what would i use it for?,' and then I saw this movie in the theaters not that long after and it just clicked for me. This song was for these two. I wish I could have edited this much better to the song but I tried my best. Expect more One Day videos though (probably a sadder one next).

I love this video! I think the song is perfect , it perfectly describe the frustration the Dex and Em had with each other and their feelings they took so long to confess. I'm a huge fan of the book and movie too and I think think it was a pretty good adaptation. I always know they'll change things that's inevitable , the main thing to me always is they capture the heart and soul of the story and characters. And they did beautifully. Great job can't wait for more OD vids:)

I was so friggen happy when I saw the title of your vid! <3 OMG I haven't seen this movie but holy, this song was seems like it was destined for this film! && I love your approach on the lyrics and the clip selection was awesome. just watched this heartbreakingly beautiful movie again and had of course to come right back here to this video. it's one of my faves and apart from how all kinds of awesome this video is you get me everytime with the "oooh he's a guy" voiceover lol i swear you have me laughing every f***ing time xD i'm all with Yass on this, please never stop making these amazing movie videos...you know you're my unconquered queen ;))
