thats awesome man, i love the dark sound a cello can make, actually i'm looking into getting one, and i was reading up on specs, do you think you could offer me some advice? what do they mean by high or flat arch? also, what does a wolftone sound like? and how can you tell if the wood is too thin? thx

Really great - i love that you can put so much expression yet still keep the tempo steady - im so used to this being pulled around so much. As a side note have you heard the Queyras recordings of there? Fantastic player and I think you'd like his sense of style (althgough he plays them on a modern cello at 440).

Back in the 80's, I heard Yo-Yo Ma play the last 3 suites, IN ONE CONCERT! It was TRANSCENDENTAL! Comparing my playing to his is very generous. Thanks for the kind words.
