I created this video collage project for my Literature and New Media class in the Spring of 2006 at UNC. It's an experiment that plays with the juxtaposition of words, images, and tone... in this case, Bukowski's "Love is a Dog from Hell" is read like a children's story or poem would be read, while positive images that might literally, nonsensically or loosely match the words are mixed with darker images. The goal was to use the different elemental combinations to evoke or confuse different feelings and reactions from the viewers.
