I have been looking for a clear plan of Salvation to share with my friends. This is it! Clear, straightfoward and most of all Biblical. Thank you so much for making this video!

I meant crucified.

Ok hmm. Yeh my flesh sure wars with me. I want to do what is right.

I do beleive that Jesus was crucied and shed His blood and rose again and is the Son of God and is God in the flesh. I know without a doubt those things are true.

Anyway so then next thing I knew I am on my knees prayer to Jesus to save me and repenting and asking Him into my life. At the time I didnt even know what a sinner's prayer was nor what receiving Jesus even was. No one had taught me any of that. The song didnt say "Pray this prayer after me". I just did it. All glory to God.

The singer sang Merciful Savior. That is all I remember hearing were just those two words. Now remember I wasnt raised in church and wasnt raised in a Church or amongst Christian Bible Believing people. I didnt hear Jesus saves and all that stuff. I had never even heard of a sinner's prayer or receiving Jesus. All I knew was if I was a good girl, I could get to heaven.

Well when I turned 12 and several months later in the beginning of April on 3rd day. I was sitting about listenign to the radio. I was getting tired of listening to the regular rock and roll station so I decided to listen to some other type of music. I flipped and found some more rock, and some classic rock, and some country, and some classical. Then I landed on a different station I had never heard before.

I had read what I cuold of the Bible on my own. Mostly a few psalms and proverbs but not a lot just out of curiosity. I would look at the pictures and Then at the matchnig verses.
Still others will say that one must be holy and practically perfect and near sinless to enter Heaven cause God wont allow sin into heaven and we cannot continue in sin. Yet others say that it is by grace not by works.

We can't earn salvation or attain it ourselves, so it is by God's grace that we receive it. Simply decide to accept right instead of wrong, and approach Jesus in prayer. Study the Bible. When you believe Jesus was crucified and rose from the grave, being God in the flesh, you then believe the "Gospel." Testify to others that you believe in the Gospel, and in Jesus as your Savior. Get baptized as a witness to others. This is salvation, a process that occurs, and a new way of being.

Salvation is not perfection. The spirit wars against the flesh. But a person who is truly saved and who has accepted Jesus as Savior, who has chosen what's right, will gradually gain discipline, strength, and knowledge, and will become a better person. Eternity will be in the presence of God in a new ressurected body, rather than in hell and in torment. God paid the price of death for our sins, and we only have to accept the salvation he offers. We don't have to pay the death price ourself.

Yes, we are born "in a state of sin," not as perfect beings. If you have ever lied, or stolen anything, or lusted after someone or something, then you have sinned, and are not perfect. Even small children start defying their parents as soon as they possibly can. Though also in a "state of innocence" as babies for a time before reaching accountability for their actions, children do sin.
