Fauré - Pavane (Harmonica)

This is a track from my homemade CD "Dreaming - The Music of Gabriel Fauré". I first came in contact with Fauré through Jehovah "da Gaita", the legendary chromatic harmonica player fom Brazil. When I recorded this, I had been playing the harmonica for about three years and, though it is far from perfect, I was very pleased that I, whom I thought was completely tonedeaf, could actually play a tune on a musical instrument. This CD was recorded for my daughter, who is in the United States living with her mother. She listens to it every single night when she goes to bed.

In this track, I'm playing a Hohner Meisterklasse. It is a great instrument and it has been tuned by Jehovah da Gaita, who is definitely the best harmonica tuner in Brazil. So, I suppose you could say I can't blame my tool :).
