I honestly cannot be arsed to have this discussion again... It's fairly easy to look up the story behind the foundation of the two clubs and see the reasons why the rivalry is the way it is. No-one on your side seems to be interested in doing that, however.

@thekwizatshaderach Still don't know what myths you're on about. I'm not Protestant, so I wouldn't know if you told me, to begin with. Can't say that I adhere to patriotism, but since Celtic are Irish Nationalists, Rangers have become Scottish and Northern Irish Unionsts, in a sense. It's patter and has to do with the identification of the clubs' sets of fans, nothing serious, for the majority anyway.

I'd say most Rangers fans approve of the monarchy, aye, but so do the British public in general. She's the symbol of the UK, I suppose that's why "she holds a special place" in our hearts, if you will. A bit like Celtic fans hold the IRA in high regard, I suppose.
